We can help take the guess out of AP placement… a wireless survey confirms the appropriate placement of APs and best coverage without interference. Our engineers will determine the correct coverage for networks that expand wired networks, maximize performance for wireless-only networks, or provide “guest” internet access.
Due to varying client needs, we now offer 3 different levels of Survey Analysis:
Option One: Site Survey and Spectrum Analysis
Advanced wireless tools are used to determine optimal AP placement. The optimal placement is based upon needed coverage, identifying possible interference, determining power levels, and making channel assignments for non-controller based AP’s. This option also includes a post-installation sweep to confirm coverage demands are being fulfilled.
Option Two: Predictive Survey with On-Site Verification/Spectrum Analysis
A paper survey is completed to determine best AP placements. An on-site sweep is made to uncover possible interference. Channel assignments, for non-controller based APs, are made during the initial installation visit. A post installation follow up sweep is made to verify the coverage. Because this survey is a little less comprehensive some additional tuning may be required after installation.
Option Three: Predictive Analysis Only
A paper survey is completed based off of blueprints, submitted by you, to determine the AP placements only. Channel assignments are made during installation. There is a post installation follow up sweep to verify the coverage. This option is the easiest on your bottom line but it also does not show any interference points or dead spots – could be an issues in older construction or steel frame buildings.
